Discovered Earth ("we," "us," or "our") operates tlamber.com (the "Site"). We are committed to your satisfaction with our custom poems and children's books. This Refund and Return Policy outlines our procedures for refunds, returns, replacements, and related matters.

By placing an order on our Site, you agree to this policy.

1. Custom Poetry (Typewriter Poems and Custom Formal Poetry)

All custom poetry—including typewriter poems made to order based on your input and custom formal poetry—is personalized and created specifically for you.

Refunds are not supported for custom poetry. Once an order is placed and we begin creation (which starts immediately or shortly after payment), we do not offer refunds, cancellations, returns, or exchanges.

  • Typewriter poems are made to order based on the details you provide. They are non-resalable and considered final upon creation.

  • Custom formal poetry includes an unlimited number of revisions until you are satisfied. We work with you through revisions to ensure the poem meets your vision—please communicate any adjustments needed during the revision process.

Exceptions for our errors:

  • If the delivered poem contains a clear error on our part (e.g., we failed to follow your explicit instructions or made a mistake in transcribing provided details), contact us within 30 days of delivery with details and proof. We will review and provide revisions (or, in rare cases at our discretion, a refund).

Digital delivery (e.g., emailed poem, PDF, or typewriter format file) is considered complete upon transmission.

2. Children's Books (Physical Copies)

For standard (non-customized) physical children's books:

  • We accept returns within 30 days of delivery if the item is unused, in original condition, with all tags/packaging intact.

  • You are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or damaged.

  • Refunds issued to original payment method after inspection (typically within 7–10 business days).

  • Sale/clearance or signed items may be non-returnable—check product page.

To initiate: Email info.discoveredearth@gmail.com with order number and reason for return authorization.

3. Digital Products

Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or access granted, as they are considered consumed.

Contact us within 7 days for technical access issues.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If any physical item (children's book or printed typewriter poem, if applicable) arrives damaged (e.g., during shipping):

  • Contact us within 30 days of receipt at info.discoveredearth@gmail.com with photos and your order number.

  • We will verify the issue and send a replacement at no additional cost (subject to availability).

  • If a replacement is not possible, we may issue a refund including original shipping costs.

This covers damage in transit or manufacturing defects. Customer-caused damage after receipt is not covered.

5. General Refunds & Processing

  • Refunds (when applicable) go to the original payment method.

  • Processing takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank/processor.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable except for our errors (damaged/defective/incorrect items).

  • We do not offer cash refunds or refunds to alternate methods.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. Return for refund (if eligible) and place a new order if needed.
